Cuban women’s boxing to beat the bronze medal already secured in San Salvador
Although Legnis Cala won bronze, becoming the first female boxer medalist in the Central American and Caribbean Games, she could change the color of her medal this Monday.
After the historic bronze achieved this Friday by Legnis Cala, which makes her the first female boxer medalist in Central American and Caribbean Games, Cuban boxers expand their possibilities of accumulating medals in San Salvador.
Of the six Cubans who will take the ring this Saturday at the Chancellery, two women aspire to ratify the strength of this discipline for the country: in 60 kg: Lianet Gómez (CUB) vs. Pamela Salgado (CRC) and in 70 kg: Idamelys Moreno (CUB) vs. Aylin Jamez (CCS).
